Heart, determination, persistence: what words could a person say or express to the finest group of ladies I have ever had the privilege to be associated with? This past week was one memory of a lifetime which can never be replaced in my heart or my mind as I trekked through flatland and bottoms of Alabama, trying my best to keep up with the ladies involved in the physically challenged hunt. Each day brought new meaning and mind-blowing wonders as I watched these ladies prepare for the thrill of hunting. Time meant nothing except the time they would be in the woods, waiting, watching and diligently awaiting the sign of a deer or hog. Weather? No such thing as weather would keep them inside the Southern Sportsman's Lodge; whether it was rain or cold, they were ready for the guides to get them to their stands each day. When they returned from the hunt, there was still no rest; they all wanted to shoot clay pigeons until the ammo and pigeons were nowhere to be found and nothing but empty shell casings and broken bright orange clays lay on the ground. These ladies are hunters and shooters extraordinaire.

I want to thank you all for allowing me to be a part of your time and sharing your experiences and hunts. God bless you all.
