Without cutting corners Pam set out to create a line of clothing that would not only stand up to the rigors of Africa or the tough Texas plains, but a line of clothing that would capture women’s attention, a line of clothing that every woman hunter would be proud to wear. It wasn’t long before the couple realized that they were onto something and soon that small home based hobby would outgrow her spare bedroom. In less than two years SHE Safari has busted at the seams as word spread about this new line of clothing for women. SHE Safari was filling the void left by a lot of clothing and camouflage companies by offering stylish, properly designed and well thought out garments just for women. SHE Safari is quickly becoming the “go to “place for outdoor fashion. From upland pants, shirts and jackets, to shorts and skorts, SHE Safari offers something for every “outdoor apparel challenged woman,” regardless of the game they are pursuing. After all, there is no law in the jungle that says we ladies can’t look good while we are chasing big game.
SHE Safari promises that 2007 to be the best year yet, with the introduction of several new camo patterns. Plus, SHE Safari will expand their line to include twill safari and waxed cotton-faced upland apparel suitable for gun hunter or bowhunters. With the boom in numbers of women that are pursuing hunting, and with such companies as SHE Safari the time has come for women hunters to stand up and demand gear that works. Manufacturers and leading retailers are starting to recognize this growing trend as well. By calling our favorite retailers and asking them to carry more gear and clothing designed for women we are making our former struggle a thing of the past.
