Team Frady Archery Adventures and The Outdoor Advantage Group would like to announce Lynne Frady’s promotion to the Pro Staff of WomenHunters. She has worked with them as a writer for a 1 1/2 years. WomenHunters now have 10 members on their Pro Staff and are very selective with who is placed in this position to represent their distinguished organization geared toward all types of hunting for women.
WomenHunters is Christian based and is located in Kershaw S.C. with Sue Burch as the head of this non-profit corporation. WomenHunters.com offers an online magazine and store with plenty of information on women’s events, hunts and products specially designed for women. The primary goal of the WomenHunters Pro Staff is an outreach program to bring more women to the outdoors and hunting. Their Pro Staffers write articles for the website and their Newsletter where they offer “Tips from the Pro’s”. They are encouraged to become involved with local education programs and community events involving hunting and the outdoors. WomenHunters will launch their new television show later this summer which gives them more opportunities to promote women hunting, products and gear to a wider audience. Lynne, her husband Jim, and their daughter Leah have worked within the hunting and outdoor industry for 8 years and have been taking their Archery and Outdoor Classroom Programs to Schools, Camps, 4-H Clubs, Boy Scout of America Troops and Camps for the terminally ill for 10 years. They also work with many State and National Organizations as well, such as, B.O.W. (Becoming and Outdoors Woman) and National Wild Turkey Federations Women in the Outdoors . This year they also added Crossbows to their Archery classes for the physically challenged children that were in several of their classes. They also host several All Women’s hunts each year and are working on adding to this list of hunts to include couples hunts, youth hunts and hunts for the physically challenged. Lynne’s passion for the outdoors, hunting and fishing has given her the opportunity to share her knowledge with others. Her years of experience in the outdoors and the encouragement of her family has given her the ability to bring more women and children to the outdoors and teach the values and importance of game management, hunting and conservation. Lynne is a writer for National Bowhunter Magazine, Bowhunt America, Women Anglers.com, Team Frady Archery Adventures Newsletter and Women Who Hunt.com where she and her husband are on the Board of Directors and Regional Directors for Central N.C. and S.C. This will also give Lynne another opportunity to represent and promote her sponsors within the hunting and outdoors industry. Each of these companies are working hard to make sure women understand that the industry is behind them by manufacturing more equipment geared toward women and youth. Thanks to WomenHunters and their informative Website, Newsletter and Hunting Show this information is getting into the hands of women and their families to insure our sports future. Being part of the WomenHunters Pro Staff and sharing common goals and ideals is a true honor for Lynne.
