Bolingbroke, Georgia (January 22, 2009) ¾ The first year has been a huge success for “Family Traditions” and hosts Haley and G.O. Heath. At the Sportsman’s Channel annual awards ceremony, held January 16th at BB King’s Blues House in Orlando, Florida, “Family Traditions” was nominated in three categories: Best Combination Show, Sportsman of the Year and Viewer Favorite Personality for 2008. The show and host Haley Heath took top honors from viewers of the Sportsman Channel and won the coveted Viewer Favorite Personality Award.
This is the first time that the Viewer Favorite Personality Award has gone to a female. This is quite an accomplishment – and this is the first year for “Family Traditions.” Others have noticed the husband and wife team outside the industry. In fact they have also been featured in USA Today, Wall Street Journal and ABC Nightly World News for their unique family show.
