2008 Black Ice Diamond Bow

Product Reviews - Bows & Accessories

How nice it is to enter the archery indoor range and have all eyes turn and look.  No, they weren’t looking at me, but at the beautiful new 2008 Black Ice bow made by Diamond Archery, a Bowtech Company.  Every person stepped off the shooting line to come over and examine the sleek lines of the Black Ice.

Weighing in at only 3.2 lbs, the bow can be carried easily for a long distance especially when you consider a rifle weighs 7lbs.

The Black Ice has a 53 degree beyond parallel limb design with a well balanced pinnacle cam.  There is minimal shock as the mass is distributed toward the center transferring noise and energy to arrow as a harmonious balance of limbs.  The machined shelf with thumb grooves and lowered berger holes close to the hand create an opportunity for greater accuracy.  There are 3 different handle accessories, one is a nice wooden laminated handle, a laser grip and other is a heated HotPursuit grip. The heated grip is great for cold hunting mornings.

The Black ice comes in several camoflague patterns: Realtree APG, Max 4, Mossy Oak Brand: Brush, Obsession, Treestand. It also comes in a blue marble target bow.

A Hostage rest comes as an accessory.
