My 2008 spring turkey season started with a trip to visit friends and hunt turkeys in northwest Tennessee.  The birds were henned up, thunderstorms loomed over us off and on all weekend; we even woke up to temperatures in the mid 30's one morning!

Regardless of all the elements and uncooperative turkeys I was able to bring home a Tennessee turkey.   Three gobblers finally decided to check out the calls coming from my H.S. Strut Voo Duece and the new Infinity Latex Duece Cutter mouth call.  I knew it was a long shot, but it was wide open and the birds weren't coming in any closer...so, I put the fiber optic sights on my Thompson-Center Encore 12 gauge on the bird closest to me and let the Winchester Xtended Range HD turkey load do it's job.  The gobbler dropped in his tracks!
