Note: I want to thank Brady Copeland and his family for sharing Pine Acres Plantation with us and allowing us this wonderful hunting adventure. Pine Acres Plantation is not a commercial plantation and is just for the Copeland family and invited guest.

December 4 - On Friday, December 14, 2001, thru December 16, 2001 we will be having the First Annual All Women Disabled Hunt in Estill SC. I just found out that one of ladies will not be able to make it so the following ladies will be hunting: Lisa Lander from PA, Sheila Burnham from MS, Mandy Sears from TX, Karen Myers from NC, Linda Thompson from MI and myself Sue Burch from SC. Looking at the photo of me on the right you would think that I don't have any disabilities... this is an old photo but most people that suffer with Fibromyalgia look healthy and you would never know how much they are in pain day in and day out... I have talked to some of the ladies and we all are very excited and ready to hunt... We will be taking lots of photos and it will be featured here at womenhunters.com in the physically challenged section and at BADF Disabled Services.

December 16 - Update - This is just a quick summary of how the hunt went. We all arrived Friday afternoon except Lisa Landers. Poor Lisa had flight problems and it was late when she got there. She didn't get to hunt until Saturday morning. We all hunted hard... The deer had turned nocturnal and were only moving at night. Saturday morning I could hear bucks chasing does behind my tower in the pine trees but just at daybreak it got very quiet and not a sign of dear at all. Sunday morning Linda Thompson our very own writer harvested a doe first and not long after she harvested a 12 point buck and he is a beauty for sure. I hope to get the photos by tomorrow and will have much more to share with you. Also we had the pleasure of having Barbara Strawberry President of Sables of the Safari Club International hunt with us. Sables donated $3,200 for food and airfare and travel expenses for the participants and also took care of the food expenses. This was my first hunt with other women and it was outstanding. I am already looking forward to the next one.

December 18 - Update - I have so many photos that I want to share with you but tonight I am going to just share a couple and then more as the story unfolds.
