Hey Ya’ll, my name is Victoria, or Tori for short. I sure do have a passion and love for the outdoors. I also sure don’t know how to stay in one place for long. For most of my life I grew up below the mason Dixon line in Central/Southern cities such as Ft. Pierce, White City and Jupiter, Florida. I sure loved it there, and many of my friends say that I am a fish out of water. I have probably spent half my life either river fishing on our old boat the “Grey Ghost” or offshore fishing on our Bertram named “The Kokomo.” I caught my first fish when I was two and have been fishing and doing outdoor things ever since I could remember. My family moved to Savannah, Georgia, and then to the “Everything’s Bigger in…” state of Texas. I was a competitive gymnast until my middle school years, then became a junior Olympic springboard and platform diver at the University of Texas (Hook ‘em Horns!) It was not long after that we moved again back down to the Sunshine State of Florida. We lived on the west coast this time in Ft. Myers. Soon after we made a long stop to New York. I went through all of high school in a quaint little town in upstate called Mahopac. New York is where I became a hunting fanatic you could say. My dad has hunted throughout the years, and would go hunting or fishing every day if he could. Yes, I sure am a Daddy’s girl! He is the one that taught me all about hunting, and decided it was time for me to go on my first hunt in 2007. On my first hunt, which was for Eastern Turkey, I was so nervous, and excited all at the same time. Lucky as can be, I harvested two gobblers that day (In the same shot..Didn’t even see one of the gobblers!) The adrenaline rush when you see that turkey or deer is unlike any other, and as you lady huntresses know, it sure is a great feeling. My dad and I are working on getting the grand slam and have two out of four so far. I will also, if God’s willing, take my first buck this 2008 season!

I attend Florida State University (GO NOLES!!!) and have wanted to be a Seminole since I was little. I have some real Seminole Indian heritage in me so I am so happy to finally be a part of the Seminole family. I am a creative writing major, with a minor in Communications, and one day I hope to write for a major outdoor magazine such as Field and Stream. I love writing, and am very outgoing and energetic. I am an only child, but stay busy with the Delta Zeta Sorority I joined this past year. I love college, going out with friends, playing with my “Tweenie” size dachsun named “Little Man Lynyrd” and love the band Lynyrd Skynyrd( Hence my puppy’s name hehe). I especially love just relaxing out in nature, sitting in a blind listening for that gobble, or going out for an afternoon skeet shoot with my dad. I love my family and thank them every day for the opportunities I’ve been given!
Happy Hunting!
