Stalk Hunting : A Lost Art?

 Nowadays, stalk hunting has become overshadowed by new age hunting techniques. Treestand and blind hunting have become very popular with this generation of hunters. It takes little effort and time to figure out where to put the blind or treestand. If you are unsuccessful hunting in that particular spot all you have to do it move.
 Years ago, before blinds and treestands were invented many hunters stalk hunted. Then, hunters found time to learn to stalk hunt and to improve their techniques. With busy schedules today , one can hardly take the time to eat a good hardy breakfast, let alone spend the time to stalk hunt. New age products would give today's stalk hunters a bigger chance at killing a deer. Products like scent free soap and scent-lock clothing give hunters an advantage over the game by reducing human scent.
So, why are hunters choosing to hunt with stands and blinds instead of stalk hunting? Is it because there isn't enough spare time, there isn't enough information on how to stalk hunt or because our generation of hunters is just too lazy? I think we ought to get out there and try an older way of hunting, instead of new.
