ProStaff Update

By Pro Staff Director Alyssa Haukom

New for 2006, the WomenHunters® newsletter will feature a quarterly "Pro Staff Update". Beginning with the spring 2006 issue, this column will highlight the many varied and exciting activities of the Pro Staff throughout the year.

Each Pro Staffer is expected to represent womenhunters everywhere and actively promote hunting through their involvement within the hunting industry whether it be locally, regionally or nationwide. Through these quarterly updates it’s my hope that you’ll come to know each of these hardworking women better and share in their achievements and enthusiasm for hunting.

We currently have eight outstanding ladies on the WomenHunters® Pro Staff and they include:

Beth Ann Amico (Oklahoma)

Linda Burch (Minnesota) President of WomenHunters®

Claudia Eisenmann (Kentucky) V.P. Communications

Lynn Frady (North Carolina)

Alyssa Haukom (Wisconsin) Pro Staff Director

Michele Leqve (Minnesota) V.P. Public Relations

Lisa Metheny (Indiana) General Board

Linda Thompson (Michigan) Past President

In January 2006 several of these ladies kicked off the New Year by promoting WomenHunters at the ATA show in Atlanta, GA. They worked at the WomenHunters booth and also other various booths. Linda Burch and Linda Thompson, Michele Leqve, Lisa Metheny, and Lynn Frady were all present as well as WomenHunters Executive Director Sue Burch and WH staffers Heather Reddeman, Heidi Strosahl, Janice Baer, Julie Hughes, Gail Wynne, Susan Phenix, Cindy Braun and our newest staffer Deb Luzinski. Michele Leqve and Deb Luzinski went the "extra mile" by having their heads shaved publicly as an ATA fundraiser for cancer research. To find out more, look for the "ATA Baldy Awards" photos on the website and to find out more about these special ladies, please visit the womenhunters.com website and read their bios.
